MONTOURSVILLE — A man was found dead in Lycoming County Sunday morning.
The body of Edward White, 77, of Williamsport, was found along Fairview Drive and Cemetery Road in Montoursville just after 12:30 a.m., according to state police.
Officials said the man was shot and his body was dumped at that location.
Police said they do not believe the public is in any danger and the homicide is under investigation.
