LEHIGH VALLEY — Nine people are in custody, including two women from our area, after a drug bust in the Lehigh Valley.
According to the Attorney General’s Office, Alison and Barbara Monfre from Carbon County both face a slew of charges after authorities say the two were involved in a prescription drug ring.
Authorities say the theft of a prescription pad resulted in the theft of more than 1,000 Oxycodone tablets.
The charges against the women from Summit Hill include forgery, deception, conspiracy and theft.
