Trail Blessed In Native American Ceremony

TAYLOR — A special Native American ceremony was held Friday afternoon on the Lackawanna River Heritage Trail in Lackawanna County.

Members of the Seneca Nation in New York blessed the trail ahead of Sunday’s inaugural Scranton Half Marathon.

About 2,800 people will run from Memorial Stadium in Scranton to the heritage trail in Taylor and back.
