WILKES-BARRE — Students at a university in Wilkes-Barre are on alert after officials said someone was assaulted while walking on campus Saturday morning.
According to a text message from Wilkes University, the female student was walking to Waller Hall just before 2 a.m. when someone grabbed her arm and dragged her into a building.
The student was able to escape unhurt and university officials are asking anyone with information to call public safety at Wilkes.
