WEST MAHANOY TOWNSHIP -- Saturday marked the first day of trout season in Schuylkill County.
Newswatch 16 spoke to some anglers out on Whipperdam near Frackville.
Some weren't having the best of luck but say they have plenty of time to grab a catch.
The trout season for the rest of our state begins on April 12th.
