The 3rd Annual, "Party with the Pros" put on by the KRW Foundation, was a big hit at the Electric City Trolley Museum! The event's special guests were three former Philadelphia Phillies, including Greg "The Bull" Luzinski, Dallas Green, and Major League Baseball's all time hits leader, Pete Rose! Before signing autographs and chatting with over 500 people at the event, which benefited the Children's Advocacy Center of NEPA, Pete spoke candidly with me about baseball, Bud Selig, and the better days he hopes are ahead.

Pete told me that his favorite memory from his playing days isn't capturing the all-time hits record, but is winning the 1980 World Series with the Phillies and the parade that followed. He still dreams that one day he will make it into the Hall of Fame, and hopes to be reinstated into baseball. He also spoke fondly of his friend and former teammate, Greg Luzinski, and was happy that they could both be here in Scranton, to help a great cause!
