WILKES-BARRE -- Strikes, spares, and yes, even gutter balls are going to help kids in need of some big brothers and big sisters.

For the 32nd year, Bowl for Kids' Sake was held at Stanton Lanes in Wilkes-Barre.

The annual bowl-a-thon helps raise money for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.

Bowl for Kids's Sake is the biggest fundraiser all year for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bridge.

Tanya Olaviany from Big Brothers Big Sisters said, "There are 270 children who are waiting for big brothers and big sisters here in NEPA and, hopefully, by raising the funds and raising the awareness of the program, we'll be able to find mentors for each of those children."

Newswatch 16's own Tom and Noreen Clark lend their bowling talents every year to the event, which is expected to raise more than $80,000.
