WILLIAMSPORT — Fire destroyed an apartment building Friday in Lycoming County.
It broke out around 4:15 p.m. Friday in the 900 block of Elizabeth Street in Williamsport.
Flames and smoke were coming from the home when Newswatch 16 was there.
Crews believe at least eight people lived in the place in four apartments. Everyone got out safely.
There is no word on the cause.
