Thief Steals Catalytic Converters from Two Parked Cars

WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP — Somebody stole catalytic converters from two cars parked at a park and ride along Route 309 near Wilkes-Barre.

Authorities believe the theft happened sometime on Tuesday.  Police believe the same person stole both of them.

Catalytic converters are part of the car’s exhaust system and they can cost upwards of $1,000 to replace.

Anyone with information is asked to call Wilkes-Barre Township Police.
