SOUTH ABINGTON TOWNSHIP — A bridge project in Lackawanna County has been postponed because of wind.
Crews were planning to string more cables on Wednesday as part of a project to replace the concrete deck and steel on the Pennsylvania Turnpike bridge over Routes 6 and 11 near Clarks Summit.
High winds postponed the work until Thursday.
Officials said the work should be finished by late Thursday or Friday.
