‘Cheerios’ for ShopRite Workers Fighting Hunger

Workers at two more ShopRite stores in our area are being recognized for their efforts to fight hunger.

Crystal McCracken of Moscow and Laura Bracey Snyder of Spring Brook Township will be featured on a limited edition Cheerios boxes being sold at ShopRite in Daleville.

It’s part of the grocery store chain’s Partners in Caring contest.

The store in Lackawanna County raised more than $13,000 and $10,000 will go to local food banks.

The ShopRite store in Mount Pocono raised more than $8,000 for food banks in Monroe County.

Employees Samantha Berrios and Barbara Jungk will be featured on the limited edition Cheerios box.

More than $1 million was raised by ShopRite stores in six states to fight hunger.
