DUNMORE -- A benefit was held in Lackawanna County to help a teenager who just had surgery to remove a bone tumor.
On Sunday, folks came to Current Trendz hair salon in Dunmore for discounted haircuts. All the money goes to Ani Amboni to help with medical costs.
Amboni is a ninth grade student at Mid Valley High School.
Back in January she noticed a lump on her head. Luckily, after scans she learned it is not cancerous, but it still had to be removed. Friends put on this fundraiser in Lackawanna County hoping to help ease the cost.
