Their Tuesday night celebration didn't last long. Wednesday Old Forge at (24-3) looking at tape on Vincentian Academy-Saturday's opponent in the state final.

"It's a good team their well coached. They have to one big kid who's good she's a junior but I think we can play with them and we'll set something up and we'll see what happens," said Tom Gatto.

This Vincentian Academy team played on the Giant Center floor last year without any seniors losing to a very good Tri-Valley team, they go into this game with a little more experience playing at the Giant Center, but that's not a concern for the Old Forge Blue Devils.

"Their a real good team. Obviously they have a lot of experience. I mean they've been here before. It's going to be a tough one-their quick but I mean as long as we play our defense and we crash the boards I think we'll be good," said Teri Viera.

It's that defensive mentality and team basketball that got Old Forge this far cruising past Marian Catholic, Jenkintown, and Phil-Mont Christian. These girl's are excited for the next step.

"It's amazing. We grew up together us girl's and it's been a dream our whole lives to do this. The football team did it. We're going to do it too. We're going to come back with a championship," said Taylor Nemetz.

Last year's state championship run by Tri-Valley four years in the making. Old Forge in a similar situation now with a core group of seniors and coming into Saturday they feel prepared with only three losses all to Dunmore-an eastern conference finalist.

"The team's in our division prepared us some really good for this. We have a tough league. We have Dunmore, Holy Cross and we have some good bench players that get us prepared for these kind of games," said Lauren Carey.

"Oh! That was just awesome. I just love playing with my teammates. We're all seniors it's just awesome to be out there with them to push the season this for it's just amazing," said Rhyan Barnic.
