WILKES-BARRE — A state trooper is back at work, one day after she was found not guilty of hacking into her boyfriend’s cell phone account and filing a false police report.

Carrie Gula of West Pittston was acquitted on Thursday in Luzerne County court.

She was suspended from her job at the state police barracks at Fern Ridge in Monroe County, but her suspension was lifted Friday morning.

Back Pay ! She is a good cop Charley,I am very happy she is back. It is awful to make a fool out of someone who is good. I knew she was innocent.

Good for her! Since she was acquitted by a jury of her peers, she should have her job back. Someone mentioned in the last post that she wasn’t smiling, but it looks like she turned that frown upside down.
