SCRANTON — A woman claims her gas pedal got stuck right before her vehicle smashed through two businesses in Scranton.
Witnesses say the woman was pulling into the garage at Kelly Smertz Tires on Wyoming Avenue around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. The car didn’t stop. It smashed through a garage door and hit another building.
Police say the driver was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
Both buildings were damaged in the crash.
