WILKES-BARRE -- Attorneys for Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center and lawyers for the family of a 26-year-old West Pittston woman whose family is suing the facility over her death last year were both in court this morning trying to reach an agreement on pretrial issue.
Jennifer Sidari graduated last May from The Commonwealth Medical College in Scranton.
She died a few weeks later.
Sidari's family claims that Geisinger made medical mistakes that led to her death.
Geisinger claims that Sidari's family and attorneys are withholding prior medical information and autopsy reports.
Attorneys for the Sidari family, Matt Casey and Ross Feller Casey, LLP; released a statement to Newswatch 16 Monday evening, in which they claim that Geisinger Health System already had medical records of Jennifer Sidari from North Carolina and has had them since last summer.
