POTTSVILLE -- Dozens gathered at the Humane Fire Company for more festivities after the parade in Pottsville.

Organizers call the event the "Grand Irish Party" which had everything from Irish music to Irish food.

The parade began at 11:00 a.m. but the real celebration began at noon and ran until 4:30 p.m. in town.

Party-goers say the event after the parade gets bigger and better every year.

Joe Reno of Pinegrove says, "This is a big one, this is one of the biggest of the year. As you can see, everyone is having a good time. It should be done every year, right? Every year."
