NESCOPECK -- Crews were called to the scene of a fire at a home in Luzerne County.
Flames poured from the home along Cooper Street around 6:00 p.m.
Officials tell us the homeowner noticed something burning in the back of the house and called 911.
The homeowner's father was upstairs sleeping when the flames started to spread but he was able to get out on time with no injuries.
The home is a total loss.
The fire marshall is expected to investigate later in the night.
