Annual Race Kicks off Parade Day in Scranton

SCRANTON -- Before the St. Patrick's Day festivities got started, an annual race was held in Lackawanna County.

The Brian P. Kelly Memorial St. Patrick's Parade two mile footrace began around 11:00 a.m. Saturday on North Washington Avenue.

The race is the oldest race in the Scranton Area with more than 315 runners in attendance.
