TUNKHANNOCK — Authorities arraigned a man Thursday in Wyoming County on charges he allegedly stole a pickup truck last month in Laceyville.
Police say they found Anthony Perez in the stolen truck in Lycoming County earlier this month. After he ran away from the truck, he allegedly got into a police cruiser but was caught minutes later in Williamsport.
Perez was arraigned Thursday on burglary, criminal mischief, criminal trespass and theft of services for an incident in February in Laceyville, Wyoming County.
Police say Perez took items without permission from a home, including a heater and mattress. Authorities said Perez had been staying in the garage of the home, but took the items.
Shortly after the theft investigation, a warrant for Perez was issued for the stolen truck.
