SUGARLOAF TOWNSHIP — The absentee list at an elementary school in Luzerne County hit by illness was a bit shorter on Wednesday.
About 200 out of nearly 1,000 children were out Monday at Valley Elementary School near Hazleton.
On Tuesday nearly 300 were out.
The number on Wednesday was down to around 120.
Administrators stress they will continue cleaning with a solution to kill the highly contagious virus that has been hitting kids at school in Hazleton Area.
