WILKES-BARRE -- An investigation is underway into the Wilkes-Barre City employees Federal Credit Union.
According to law enforcement sources, on Friday the FBI served a subpoena to remove records.
Then on Monday, one hour after a meeting of the credit Union's board of directors, the CEO, Jim Payne was found dead at his home.
A sign on the credit union's door Wednesday afternoon at Wilkes-Barre City Hall told customers of reduced hours because of the unexpected death.
