County Sheriff’s Cruiser Shot Up

MANCHESTER TOWNSHIP — Police are trying to figure out who shot out the windows of a county sheriff’s car with a pellet gun.

It happened sometime overnight Sunday.

State police said the cruiser was parked off Route 191 in Manchester Township, north of Callicoon Road.

Investigators said the pellets shot out two passenger windows of the car.
