POCONO RACEWAY -- Traffic backups near Pocono Raceway may ease up in the future.
On Monday, Governor Tom Corbett announced plans to widen Route 115.
The governor says $5 million in state highway money has been set aside to widen Route 115 in Long Pond from Route 903 to the race track.
The road is expected to remain open during construction.
Design work is set to begin in a few months. It could be several years before construction begins.
