Baby Formula Thief Hit With Drug Charges

HAZLETON — Police say a man who they initially busted for shoplifting baby formula was also hit with drug charges in Luzerne County.

Authorities picked up Rivera Castellano, 31, of Hazleton on Sunday.

They say he was caught ripping off cans of baby formula from Boyer’s Market.

Officers say the man also had empty packets of heroin, a needle, and a burnt spoon on him.
