TOWANDA --- Emergency crews responded to a furnace explosion at a plant in Bradford County.
Fire and ambulance crews hurried to Global Tungsten and Powder Corporation in Towanda after that furnace blew Friday night.
A spokesperson for GTP told Newswatch 16 the explosion was minor and none of the four people in the room were hurt.
GTP makes raw materials involving powder and other chemicals.
The company is looking into what caused the furnace explosion.
