Parade Banners Flying In Scranton

SCRANTON -- Preparations are underway for one of the largest St. Patrick's parades in the country.

Irish banners started going up Monday on poles around downtown Scranton.

The parade through the Electric City is next Saturday, March 15 at noon.

According to the parade website, about 12,000 people will march in the parade that has been held in Scranton since 1962.
