SCRANTON -- The third annual Irish flag raising kicked off the St. Patrick's Day Celebration in Lackawanna County.
The event was held Saturday morning in front of the Main Courthouse.
County commissioners Patrick O'Malley and Jim Wansczak spoke at the event.
The ancient order of Hibernians says the flag raising is a celebration of Irish heritage.
