MAHANOY CITY -- It was a big night for some young people in Schuylkill County.

A newspaper run by a group of kids hit the shelves.

The first issue of Coal Cracker came out on Thursday.

Boys and girls, ages eight to 18, write all the stories and take the photos.

On Thursday, they met at the Mahanoy City Library to celebrate the accomplishment.

Folks at the paper said it comes out every other month, and it's free!
