TAMAQUA -- Police in Schuylkill County believe a truck driver suffered some sort of medical condition behind the wheel, causing a chain-reaction crash in Tamaqua.
Seven other vehicles were involved in the wreck along Railroad Street in the borough Wednesday afternoon.
Officers said the truck driven by Levi Horst from Lancaster County, started hitting vehicles as he was heading south toward the five points intersection and continued smashing into them until his rig finally came to a stop.
Police said Horst has a head injury and one other driver had to be life-flighted from the scene.
