SCRANTON --- First responders in Lackawanna County are doing everything they can to brighten the birthday of a little boy more than 200 miles away.

Cards, patches and hats were collected Tuesday afternoon from members of 11 different first response agencies in Lackawanna County.

It's all to help Tyler Seddon, 6, of Rhode Island who's battling leukemia.

According to a facebook page called Tyler's Troops, Tyler's birthday wish this year is to get birthday wishes from some of his heros, including police officers, firefighters and soldiers.

First responders also sent Tyler a special plaque, making him an honorary member of the Lackawanna County swat team.

The Harford Volunteer Fire Company also sent him presents. If you look on “Tylers Troops” Facebook page you will see hundreds of cards and presents being sent to him daily!
