Armed Robbery at a Convenience Store

HAZLETON — According to Hazleton Police, a man robbed the Pantry Quik on West Diamond Avenue in the city at around 7 p.m. Sunday.

The robber is described as a tall, thin male who was wearing a gray jacket and a black scarf at the time of the crime. Police said he was armed with a knife.

A female clerk was pushed to the ground during the robbery.

Hazleton Police do not know what was taken, and they are continuing the investigation. The same Pantry Quik was robbed on Friday, February 14.

    Hazleton is no longer a nice place to live. Over the last 10-15years has really gone down the drain. Only way to solve these problems is correct the welfare system from the huge fraud and also the disability system. Also police need to crack down on the problems and forget about just writing the speeding tickets already!
