#2 Loyalsock had to use all four quarters against Shamokin on Friday night in the Heartland Conference semifinal boy's basketball game to win 64-48. Omar Little led all scorers with 35 points. He helped the Lancer defense lock down on Shamokin in the 4th quarter holding them to only 3 points thru the first couple minutes. It was a close game throughout and a good learning curve for Chris Zimmerman's Indians. With the game tied at 40-40 early in the 4th Loyalsock put the ball in Kyle Datres hands, and the Lancer point guard delivered with several key assists down the stretch to Ben Sosa and Omar Little as the Lancers pulled away for the win. Now Loyalsock has less than 24 hours to prepare for St. John Neumann in the Heartland Conference championship game at Williamsport Area high-school on Saturday night.
