After a nearly two-week-long search, the US Marshals tracked down a woman who allegedly abducted her son.
Authorities said Mary Carter took the three-year-old boy from his father in New Jersey for what was supposed to be a one day visit, but she never brought the child back.
An investigation led the US Marshals to Wilkes-Barre where they found Carter and her son.
Carter was arrested and is awaiting extradition back to New Jersey.
