Man Charged with String of Robberies

HUGHSVILLE — Police charged a man with a string of robberies in Lycoming County.

Jason Spoeri, 29, of Hughsville,  was already in the Lycoming County jail accused of attempted robbery. Now authorities hit him with four additional robbery charges.

Earlier this month, authorities arrested Spoeri for attempting to hold up a convenience store in Hughesville.

Now officers said he also robbed the Unimart in Hughesville twice along with a Dominoes Pizza place in Muncy Creek Township and a Game Stop inside the Lycoming County Mall.

Police said all the crimes happened between mid January and early February of this year.

Spoeri remains locked up in Lycoming County prison.
