CLARKS SUMMIT — The cold weather is perfect for an annual event underway in Lackawanna County.
Clarks Summit’s annual Festival of Ice started on Friday. It was supposed to kick off Thursday night, but was postponed because of the snow.
We found ice carvers creating sculptures.
“The theme this year is rock and roll artists, instruments. What is really cool is you will see all the different genres and all ages, some old stuff, some new stuff,” said ice carver Mark Crouthamel.
In addition to ice sculptures, there will be live entertainment, contests and giveaways.
The Clarks Summit ice festival runs through Monday.
