The Mahanoy Area Golden Bears are advancing to the Schuylkill League Final after defeating Blue Mountain on Tuesday night in the semi-final. Mahanoy Area was led by Dylan Mahmod, who put up 17 points, and Larry McNeil who scored 16. The Golden Bears lead the Eagles 20-17 at the half, and won 49-35 at Pottsville's Martz Hall.
Mahanoy Area will face Pottsville in the Championship game this Friday night.
