SCRANTON -- Both lanes of the North Scranton Expressway are back open after workers repaired a huge subsidence in the roadway.

The hole opened up Wednesday in the passing lane of the expressway between the Providence Road and Mifflin Avenue exits.

On Friday, crews filled the void with concrete mix. The fill had to settle before re-opening the expressway in Lackawanna County on Saturday.
