WILKES-BARRE — A man from Luzerne County is headed to prison on charges he stabbed his girlfriend last year.
Fred Koptcho from Dallas was sentenced to four to10 years for attacking the woman last May at Kraft Foods in the Hanover Industrial Park where they both worked.
Koptcho pleaded guilty to the crime in December.
When he was led out of the courthouse, he told Newswatch 16 he was sorry for what he did and he made a mistake.
