WILKES-BARRE TOWNSHIP — A man is recovering after being robbed and beaten with a tire iron in his own home in Luzerne County.
Police say Larry Shultz found a man in the kitchen of his home on Casey Avenue near Wilkes-Barre on Saturday.
Officers said the thief beat the victim then ran off with a bag full of cash.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of the robber is asked to call Wilkes-Barre Township Police.
