Commonwealth Health Workers To Lose Jobs
WILKES-BARRE — Dozens of workers in Luzerne County have been told that they are being laid off.
Commonwealth Health, the owner of Wilkes-Barre General, says about 80 workers in the business office will lose their jobs this spring.
According to the health care company, those positions are being consolidated with the regional service center in Bethlehem.
Commonwealth Health says the workers will be able to apply for open positions in the Lehigh Valley office.
