SCRANTON — Child sex charges will send a former corrections officer from Lackawanna County to jail.
Stephen Cardamone was sentenced Tuesday morning to 12 to 30 months in the same jail where he used to work.
He pleaded no contest to the charges in November.
Police said the man gave cigarettes to a 16-year-old girl in exchange for sexual favors and exposed himself to another.
It happened at Cardamone’s house in Clarks Summit between May and October of 2007.
