SCRANTON — The boil water advisory for thousands of homes and businesses in Lackawanna County has been lifted.

Crews fixed the water main in the Scranton break over the weekend.

A water main broke Wednesday, cutting off water to thousands in Scranton and Moosic.  It was repaired Saturday.

Pennsylvania American Water officials say people in the affected area no longer need to boil their water before using it.

Wow, a 3 paragraph story on the good news and no mention of how many crew worked round the clock to restore the water to all the moaning and complaining people? I am always amazed at how “me, and only me matters” this nation has become because God forbid you are inconvenienced by an act of nature, God, an “accident”, etc. We are spoiled beyond words.. No ending with “Thank you for all your outstanding work?”… nope only the complaints…. wow, just wow
