Water Problem Closes Scranton School

SCRANTON — An elementary school in Scranton was closed Wednesday because of burst water pipes.

Plumbers were called in to fix the pipes at William Prescott Elementary School on Prescott Avenue and Myrtle Streets Wednesday morning.

There is no word if the school will be open for classes on Thursday.
