FORTY FORT – A water main break turned a main road into an icy mess Wednesday morning in Luzerne County.
Crews in Forty Fort had to shut down the area when the water iced up the street before 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Crews from Pennsylvania American Water say no customers were affected by the break.
Water and ice covered Wyoming Avenue which is a main road on the west side of the Wyoming Valley. Crews had to shut down several blocks of the street.
The road reopened by about 11:30 a.m. Crews are still working in the area.
