SAYRE — A couple from Bradford County face prison time and fines for tax fraud.
Randy and Sandy Talada of Sayre pleaded guilty last week.
According to investigators, Randy Talada continued to collect workers compensation and SSI while working under the table at an American Legion post in Athens.
During that time, his wife Sandy won more than $100,000 in small games of chance at the American Legion.
Authorities say the couple did not report Randy’s cash salary or Sandy’s winnings on their federal tax returns.
