FORTY FORT — The owner of a food mart in Luzerne County pleaded guilty Thursday to money laundering charges.
Federal prosecutors believe Mastan Mathan sold synthetic marijuana at GM Foodmart on Wyoming Avenue in Forty Fort between 2011 and 2012.
The U.S. Attorney’s office says about $300,000 from drug sales was put into at least two bank accounts.
Charges against Mathan were announced last week.
