Former Montoursville Lady Warriors basketball star Kelly Mazzante back home at her alma mater on Wednesday night to announce her retirement from professional basketball. Kelly played for Montoursville finishing with over 3,000 points in her high-school career under head coach Brain Stugart. She then went onto become the Big Ten's all-time leading scorer for Rene Portland at Penn State University and won two WNBA titles with the Phoenix Mercury. Kelly also played internationally in Slovakia and Hungary. She is considered one of the best players all-time in the state of Pennsylvania.
