Case Against Teacher Bound For Trial

HANOVER TOWNSHIP — A magistrate in Luzerne county Decided there is enough evidence to send a high school teacher to trial on sex assault charges.

Edward Evans is currently suspended from his job as a social studies teacher at Hanover Area High School.

Earlier this month, police charged Evans with sexually assaulting a student.

According to court papers, the abuse happened last year at the teacher’s home in Luzerne County.
