WILKES BARRE — The search for an armed robber is underway in Luzerne County.

Police said a man with a black pistol walked into Hazle Mini Mart, on Hazle Street in Wilkes-Barre, around 10:30 Friday night, demanding money.

According to officials, the man then fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash.

Police said the suspect was wearing a gray sweatshirt with the hood pulled tightly around his face, blue jeans, and white gloves.

Oddly enough, if they don’t mention it, it NORMALLY means he is black. What a sad, sad world we’ve made for ourselves, when it is somehow considered “racist” to mention that a bad person is black. You know guys, it’s not an indictment on the entire race to give an accurate description of a suspect. It actually seems a bit racist of you to go out of your way to avoid the subject. Perhaps we will get a surprise update, and find that he is just some white trash guy. It is standard operating procedure though, to only ignore the description under one circumstance. Oh well, regardless of race, it takes an awful human being to point a gun at somebody for free money. I hope they find out who it was.
